Jeffrey Byrd played in the 2011 Scholastic Individual Championship on 3/26/11 in Daphne, Alabama. Seventy-six chess players participated in this championship. Jeffrey won all four of his chess games and won the open bracket of the championship. Congratulations Jeffrey on being the 2011 state champion again this year for the third time!!
