The George Ward Lady Warriors were finalists in the United States Tennis Association sectional ladies combo 5.0 event that took place in Mobile, Alabama from 3/2/12 through 3/4/12. They won their division by beating Arkansas, Georgia and Tennessee. They then played Louisiana in the sectional championship and lost in a third set tie-breaker 12-10. Our Lady Warriors were second in the nine state Southern Section. The ladies pictured below from left to right are Renita Harrigan, Angela Rembert, Darlene Stanford, Julie Curry, Angela Kemp, Yvette Abadie, Tanya Webb, Nazaren Hartman, LaTonya Roy and Candace Jones.
